Sprint

What is a Sprint?

A Sprint is a set period, usually between one and four weeks, during which specific tasks and features are completed in Agile development. Each sprint is designed to produce a potentially shippable increment of the product, with a focus on delivering value quickly and iteratively.

The sprint cycle involves:

  1. Sprint Planning: Defining the sprint goals and selecting tasks from the product backlog.
  2. Daily Stand-ups: Short meetings to track progress and address any blockers.
  3. Sprint Review: Demonstrating completed work to stakeholders.
  4. Sprint Retrospective: Discussing what went well and what can be improved for the next sprint.

Sprints enable teams to maintain a steady pace of development, adjust to feedback, and continuously improve their processes and product quality.
